Terms of use
Last updated 03/10/2026
These terms are between you and WeBill (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
WeBill lets a transport company issue, number, print and keep lorry receipts (bilties), and manage the parties, branches and staff logins that go with them.
Your account
- The person who creates an organization is its owner, and may create logins for managers and staff.
- You are responsible for keeping passwords safe and for what is done through the logins you create.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused.
Your records
- The records you enter are yours.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of every document you issue, including its LR number series, its GST details and any declaration printed on it. WeBill prints what you enter and does not check it against the law or against your own books.
- An issued bilti is kept as issued. It can be amended by the owner with a recorded reason, or cancelled, but not deleted.
- How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
Early access and price
WeBill is in early access and is free to use. We will tell account owners by email well before any charge is introduced, and you will be able to decide whether to continue.
Acceptable use
Do not use WeBill to break the law, to issue documents you know to be false, to try to reach another company's records, or to interfere with the service or its security.
Availability
We work to keep WeBill available and take daily backups, but during early access we do not promise uninterrupted service. Keep the printed copies and exports your business needs.
Liability
WeBill is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from documents you issue or from details you enter.
Ending
You may stop using WeBill at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change is significant, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kolkata have jurisdiction.
